This Privacy Policy explains what information SBTI Test ("we", "us") collects when you use the website (the "Site") or purchase a Full Profile Unlock, and how we use it. We have tried to keep it short and free of legalese.

TL;DR

• Taking the free quiz requires no account, no email, no tracking sign-up.
• If you purchase a Full Profile Unlock, Stripe collects your email and payment details on our behalf — we only see the email and a non-sensitive payment reference.
• We use a small amount of analytics to understand which result pages are popular. You can opt out via your browser's "Do Not Track" setting.
• We do not sell your data. Ever.

1. Information We Collect

a) Quiz answers

Your answers to the 31 quiz questions are processed entirely in your browser. We do not transmit individual answers to our servers.

b) Purchase information (if you buy a Full Profile Unlock)

When you check out, Stripe, Inc. collects your email address and payment details directly. We receive from Stripe:

• Your email address
• A Stripe checkout session ID and payment intent ID
• The amount, currency, and country
• The SBTI type code being unlocked

We store this in a row of our unlock_purchase table so we can (i) honor refunds, (ii) email you the unlock link if you switch devices, and (iii) keep accurate financial records.

c) Analytics

We use PostHog (and optionally Vercel Analytics) for product analytics: which pages are visited, which buttons are clicked, and aggregate funnel performance. These tools may set cookies. We do not use them for advertising and we do not link analytics events to your purchase email.

d) Server logs

Like every web server on the internet, our infrastructure provider keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, user agent, request path) for security and debugging.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver the Full Profile Unlock you purchased — sign and email your unlock link, store the purchase row.
• To process refunds — match a refund request to a purchase.
• To recover access — if you use the "Restore on this device" feature, we look up unlock rows by email and email you the links.
• To improve the Site — anonymous, aggregate analytics.
• To prevent abuse — security logging and rate limiting.

We do not profile you, train AI on your purchases, or use your email for marketing without explicit opt-in.

3. Sharing Your Information

We share information only with the third parties strictly required to operate the Service:

4. Data Retention

• Purchase rows: retained for as long as the unlock is valid (no expiry) so we can support refunds and device recovery. You can request deletion at any time — see "Your Rights" below.
• Server logs: typically rotated within 30 days.
• Analytics events: retained per the analytics provider's defaults (usually up to 12 months).

5. Your Rights

You can email support@sbtitest.co to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request correction of any inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your purchase row (this also revokes the associated unlock)
• Withdraw consent for any optional processing

We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

7. Children

The Site is intended for users 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
